"During his lifetime Musashi was as famous for his artwork as for his fighting skill. He created remarkable paintings, as well as work in clay, wood and metal, calligraphy, poems and songs. Some of his works have been declared National Treasures. "

Kao što piše:
Dietrich Buxtehude: 1637-1707
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Successor to Franz Tunder at Lübeck's Church of Mary in 1668, Buxtehude began the tradition of Abendmusiken five years later. The annual concert series began the fifth Sunday before Christmas and featured sacred works for organ, choir and orchestra (a lasting tradition in that church for 137 years). In 1705 Bach walked 250 miles from Arnstadt to attend the Abendmusiken and overstayed his leave by three months. Buxtehude was known in his lifetime chiefly as an organ virtuoso and teacher whose students included Bruhns. In a letter to Forkel, Carl Philipp Emanuel identified Buxtehude as a composer whose works his father much admired.

++
Da li je, ipak, pank umetnost?
Isto koliko i Betovenova muzika.
++
+++
Klint Istvud u «Bledom jahaču»: «Duh bez fizičke vežbe ne znači mnogo.»
+++
+++
+++
Kritika panka je tako kritika same sebe, jer epigonstvo, ketmanstvo, odbrana svega postojećeg, kontrolisani bunt (još gori od bunta bez razloga) jesu upravo karakteristike «teoretičara novog romantizma»...

My all time favorite! Genije, u svakom pogledu.
Gledao sam ih 1976 u 100 Oxford st Club, mozda i nesto ranije.
Pank je def art tj art of being
Gentle pretty thing
Who only had one spring
You bravely faced the world
Ready for anything
I'm happy that you lived
For your life is mine
What have I except to cry
Spirit never die
Birds of the air
Beasts of the earth
Overjoyed at Bambi's birth they gambolled in the glade
[Chorus]
Who killed Bambi? [x9]
Murder murder murder
Someone should be angry
The crime of the century
Who shot little Bambi
Never trust a hippie
'Cause I love punky Bambi
I'll kill to find the killer
In that rotten roll army
All the spikey punkers
Believers in the ruins
With one big shout
They all cry out
Who killed Bambi?

Evo jos jednog od mojih omiljenih umetnika:
Gordon Matta-Clark 1943-1978
Na zalost nemam mnogo fotki/imidza enterijera Splitting-a (Splitting 1974, 322 Humphrey Street, Englewood, New Jersey) sem gore navedenog linka. Medjutim ako nekog interesuje vise pod obavezno da pogleda sledecu knjigu = 'Object to be destroyed'.
Izuzetno gotivim njegove radove (posebno: The Vinyl Milford, 1994 + instalacija u Mattress Factory Gallery u Pittsburgh-u + Coffee Seeks its Own Level, 1990 + stolice...).
"Allan Wexler is an artist whose gallery objects brings us back to first thing: how we keep rain off our heads, how we define space, how we measure our time. He elaborates on these simple acts in form. This is the core of his work. It is a type of experimentation with what we think we know: his work confronts us with the unknowability of even the simplest aspects of our daily lives. Wexler accomplishes this revelation in scale models of our reality. He reduces the complexity of our routines into totemic objects... What remains inherent throughout his work is the sense of experimentation - an investigation that operates as an extension of our ability to be at home in the world, to remake our reality, and to question our existence through what we make."
Ovo sam pozajmila s' Wexlerovog sajta, tako ako vas interesuje nesto vise o njemu i njegovim radovima/projektima pogledajte =

Tisnikar zaista deluje interesantno.
A apropo boli, tj. oziljaka u arhitekturi, jedan od nezaobilaznih je Lebbeus Woods (izuzetna knjiga [izmedju ostalih]: War and Architecture | Rat i Arhitektura, Princeton Architectural Press; 1994) =

Evo sad slike ili dve...
Giorgio De Chirico
(1888-1978)
1888-1906 Giorgio de Chirico was born in Volos - Greece, where his father was working as a railroad engineer. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, Greece.
1906-10 He continued his studies at the Fine Arts Academy of Munich, Germany.
1910 He inspired the concept of Metaphysical Painting, by creating the "Enigma of the Oracle" and the "The Enigma of an Autumn Afternoon"
1911-15 He moved to Paris where he met with the Avant-Garde of that period.
1915 He moved to Ferrara, Italy.
1920 End of the Metaphysical period. He settled in Rome and declared a return to Traditional. He copies Botticelli, Raphael and Michelangello.
1925 He returned to Paris, where he was received with enthusiasm by the Surrealists since they considered him to be their precursor. Shortly thereafter he withdrew from this circle. He wrote his book "Hebdomeros", where he renounced all of his work before 1920, the most important part of his whole creation.
