Nakon procesijskog jubileja 1000. VN u Kini sledi VN Azerbajdžana u skoro uvek uzbudljivom Bakuu. Ako ne računamo 2016. godinu, sve ostale trke su bile uzbudljive. Svaka na svoj način. Izgleda neverovatno, no Perez drži rekord po broju podijuma (2), a da se nije skršio s kolegom 2017. možda bi čak i pobedio! Perezu prija ova staza.

 

Ove godine sredina poretka može nastaviti tu tradiciju po pitanju uzbudljivih trka, ali u gornjem domu Ferari kvari uzbuđenje. Mercedes ima 100% učinak pobeda ove godine, s tim da je Hamilton slavio dva puta. Iskreno se nadam da će vrckasti Baku promenuti odnos snaga na neki način.

Lewis Hamilton says Charles Leclerc is feeling the urge to “rebel” at Ferrari in the same way he did during his first season at McLaren.

Ferrari has ordered Leclerc to play a supporting role to his team mate in all three races so far this year. Hamilton said he could see parallels between the situation and his rookie campaign alongside Fernando Alonso in 2007.

“I think he’s a little bit younger than I was or just a year or so,” said Hamilton when asked about the similarities between his debut season and Leclerc’s partnership with Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari this year.

“When you’re young, particularly, I remember wanting to get to Formula 1 as soon as possible. And then when I got there I wanted to win as soon as possible and I wanted to beat the champion that I was racing against so it was very similar. I see much of myself in Charles.”

Leclerc was told to wait two laps behind Vettel in Bahrain, but overtook his team mate less than a lap later. Although Leclerc obeyed an instruction to let Vettel pass him in China, today he said he will only obey further such orders “in some situations”. Hamilton said he understands Leclerc’s reluctance to support Vettel.

“The difficult thing is, my philosophy as a racing driver has always been I always want equal opportunity with whoever it is that I’m racing so I can truly show my ability,” he said. “I got to Formula 1 and how these teams are often set up when you have… there are a couple of scenarios where you have multiple world champions who demand a number one position and therefore you become a number two in a supporting role. And whilst it’s a privileged position to be in, it goes against your core values because you’re a racing driver at heart.

“So that’s what I’m saying, I understand how Charles feels. Because in his heart he believes he’s the best, or got the potential to be the best, and it’s almost like having your light dimmed. So as a racer and as a fierce competitor you naturally kind of rebel. They say to do one thing but thew fight in you wants to push the other way.”

In the 2007 Monaco Grand Prix Hamilton followed Alonso home but he complained afterwards he was being treated like a “number two” driver. At the time, teams were allowed to refuel their cars during races and drivers qualified with their race fuel loads in the car. Hamilton carried an extra five laps’ worth of fuel in qualifying, which he felt prevented him challenging Alonso for victory.

The situation changed at the following race in Canada, he explained. “Luckily for me my team at the time gave us equal fuel loads – because back then it wasn’t equal fuel loads in qualifying – and in the next race they did and I won, first grand prix [victory]. So for me it justified the rebellious side that I had and from then on it just felt like I had more of a real chance to show my ability each weekend.”

Leclerc was on course to win in Bahrain after passing Vettel, until he was struck by a power unit problem, which handed victory to Hamilton. “He’s doing a great job already so far,” said the Mercedes driver.

“[There’s] really high expectations at a huge team like Ferrari, but he’s driving so well. He just have to keep doing what he’s doing. It’ll come to him.”

Teska satira u prvom treningu. Prvo Rasel usisa poklopac sahta koji raznese pod bolida, zatim kamion koji je pokupio bolid udari rukom u most, osteti most, a hidraulika iz ruke iscuri po bolidu. :ajme:

Teska satira u prvom treningu. Prvo Rasel usisa poklopac sahta koji raznese pod bolida, zatim kamion koji je pokupio bolid udari rukom u most, osteti most, a hidraulika iz ruke iscuri po bolidu. :ajme:

Teški amaterizam btw, isto sr**e se desilo 2016. godine. Izgleda uopšte nisu naučili iz prošlih grešaka..

Mnogo ocekujes od bivsih sovjetskih despotija. To su sve drzave u kojima je "nece valjda" glavna uzrecica a javasluk i korupcija smisao postojanja.

 

Otkazan i F2 slobodni trening a pod znakom pitanja je i ostatak danasnjeg programa (F1 FP2, kvalifikacije za F2). Kako misle da uopste voze trku ako se danas ne bude vozilo i na sta ce to da lici nemam pojma. Nosice nekog na dusi.

A kome ce se ovako sranje desiti nego baksuznom Vilijamsu, nije im dosta svi problemi koje imaju nego sad jos i kompletno unisten bolid sa sasijom za rashod. Pitanje da li je i PJ ostecena.

Ne znam kako je to pravno reseno, ali ovde bi organizator ili osiguravajuca kuca morali finansijski da nadoknade stetu Vilijamsu u suprotnom ovo  bi mogao biti poslednji ekser u njihovom kovcegu.

 

Inace drugi trening ce se voziti po planu.

Raselov bolid nece biti spreman do sutra:
 

George Russell will be unable to resume his Azerbaijan Grand Prix practice until tomorrow after a drain cover damaged his car in first practice.

The Williams driver struck the cover as he was approaching turn three during his third lap of the track during first practice.

The impact caused significant damage to the underside of Russell’s FW42. The team has confirmed he will require a new chassis, which means he will be unable to run again until tomorrow’s final hour of practice ahead of qualifying.

Russell, who arrived in Baku suffering from a respiratory infection, was unhurt in the incident. However further damaged was caused to his car when the recovery truck it was placed on struck a bridge, and a damaged hydraulic arm dripped fluid onto its engine cover.

The practice session was abandoned while the other manhole covers on the six-kilometre Baku City Circuit were inspected. The qualifying session for the Formula Two feature race was scheduled to begin in 20 minutes’ at the track but has been postponed due to the ongoing checks.

The standard of building work at the temporary circuit was a concern during its first race in 2016, when several kerbs had to be altered following the first day of practice. Valtteri Bottas’s Williams was also damaged by a loose drain cover during final practice that year.

Radoje,

 

Ma uopšteno mislim da je F1 kao organizacija jedna zaista ozbiljna manifestacija, i da stvari poput jednostavnog proveravanja pričvršćenosti poklopca šahta bi trebale biti samo formalnost. Ovako ni najjednostavnije stvari nisu odrađene kako treba. FIA bi trebala narediti organizatorima staza da izvrše kompletnu inspekciju pre trkačkog vikenda u dogovoru s FIA inspektorima. To je hebena normalna formalnost koja nebi trebala uopšte predstavljati problem.

 

Koliko je organizacija staze kriva toliko je i sama FIA.

 

Hebeni amaterizam. Niš, čekamo još jednu smrt na stazi. E onda ćese delovati, ili će oreol zaštita glave odraditi posao. Jupi, FIA je razvila program zaštite od sopstvenih grešaka. Ne znam ali jako sam besan na sve to što se desilo Raselu.

Zato što se u takvim pripizdinama kradu elektrode za zavarivanje poklopaca da može da se ide idući vikend u fuš. Jebiga, zanestalo im za pistu.

Gazli mora startati iz pitlejna u nedelju jer se danas na drugom slobodnom treningu nije odazvao na redovnu kontrolu merenja bolida dok se vraćao u boks.

Đovinaci je dobio 10 mesta kazne jer su mu promenuli CE (Control Electronic), njegov treći u sezoni.

Gazli mora startati iz pitlejna u nedelju jer se danas na drugom slobodnom treningu nije odazvao na redovnu kontrolu merenja bolida dok se vraćao u boks.

 

Ako su pametni vozice samo Q1 i nece dalje ucestvovati u kvalifikacijama.

 

A sto se tice pravila, ne vidim svrhu ovih merenja tokom treninga. Vremena na treningu ne znace nista, zasto je bitno da li je neki bolid eventualno malo laksi ili ne? Merenja su veliko malteretiranje, i ako to mora da se istrpi u kvalifikacijama, da neko ne bi stvorio nefer prednost, zaista ne znam cemu to na treninzima.
