Mclaren i Sauber?  Timovi, koji su uradili revoluciju na bolidu. Stvarno?

Evoluciju. Nema tu nikakve revolucije. No kada vidim koliko ovih izbuljenih smajlija stavljaš sve mi je jasno

...Then there's the public impact of the stronger tyre structures that Pirelli introduced this year. The use of a tough steel belt has left the tyres more puncture resistant than before, but the consequence is that when tyres get cut by debris, rather than being a standard puncture, the tread now overheats and tears away. It's produced spectacular images of tyres that look like they've delaminated because they're not good enough, when in reality it's a failure caused by external factors.

I o kritikama:

Red Bull, meanwhile, is convinced it has a car that's well clear of the opposition, but that it can't exploit that because of the tyres. That's fuelled the criticism from the team, set a public agenda – and left many fans feeling that Pirelli's impact is actually affecting the natural order.

Another factor is the boom in radio traffic being broadcast by FOM that's fuelled the view that drivers are no longer pushing in races. Comments from teams that their drivers shouldn't waste time and tyre life battling with rivals, or the likes of Lewis Hamilton saying they're 'going as slow as they can' when asked to cool overheating tyres, have promoted a perception that hardcore racing is no more. The reality isn't like that at all.

Even so, no one – not even Pirelli – denies that four-stop races are a step too far. Two stops is the aim, and that's why changes are coming for Canada. It's not been an ideal start to the campaign, but the roots of the problem are historic – and not just down to Pirelli getting it wrong in isolation.

Barem neko da me razume.

Boullier believes the situation is especially unfair(oko promene guma) because all outfits had access to Pirelli's 2013 tyre data at the same time - and the move could hurt those outfits that elected to focus their designs on ensuring the tyres were looked after.

"Last year, when we were designing our 2013 car, each team received information from Pirelli and everyone did the best job they could to develop a chassis which would make best use of the tyre characteristics," he said.

"We even ran with some experimental 2013 tyres at the end of last season, to assist us in confirming our development paths.

"As with every season, some teams do a better job than others with their designs, and some drivers are more adaptable than others to the changes of both car and tyre.

"It is frustrating when you've developed a car from a set of tyre specifications which are available to everyone – for tyres that are the same for everyone – to then be told that they are being changed mid-season."

Ja nemam (više) tim za koji navijam. Do dolaska Šumija, navijao sam za tim Ferrari i različite vozače. Sada navijam samo za vozače. Za tim baš me briga.

I like to see drivers driving flat out. But I also want to see an interesting race and not a procession.
