Steiner gets married under the keche (traditional Albanian cap)

Pristina ? In parallel to the preparations for a relatively soon departure
to a new assignment, the Chief of UNMIK Michel Steiner, as it is always
louder "whispered" in the couloirs of the Albanian political elite in
Pristina, is accelerating his preparation for his wedding. The rumor has
it that he is to be wed with a beautiful Kosovo Albanian girl Bukrije
Djonbalaj, better known after her nickname ? Bilji.

According to "Ekspres" sources, Bukrije Djonbalaj - Bilji was born some 30
years ago in the vicinity of the town of Rozaje (Montenegro) and she grew
up in Prizren. Bukrije started working for UNMIK in the year 2000, as a
legal assistant. After being fired from the Prosecution Office Bilji became
a member of RTK's Board due to her ties with diplomatic circles to whom she
was introduced by her brother Afrim Djonbalaj (TV 21 correspondent from
Brussels), whose best man is no more - no less then Jamie Shea ? better
known as "the collateral damage". Besides diplomats and politicians, Bilji
also adores journalists and this love towards journalism caused her to
maintain very close relations with both Koha Ditore's Editor-in Chief Veton
Surroi and Baton Haxhiu for quite some time.

The beautiful Bilji had "a quality communication" with the Mayor of Tirana
Edi Rama, who is also a great friend of Michael Steiner and Hashim Taci.
Taci also maintained very intensive friendship with Burije Djonbalaj. In
these circumstances, Bilji has won "the strategically worked out" affection
of UNMIK's Chief, who traveled to New York together with his loved one ?
Bukrije Djonbalaj. When she showed up in New York, it provoked loud
comments and protests of UN officials, who objected to transportation of
non-UN personnel by the UN airplane.

Conflict of jurisdictions' between Bilji and Minna

Following the announced newly marriage between Steiner and Bukurije
Djonbaljaj, according to the diplomatic and Albanian political sources in
Pristina, emotionally the most affected one is a UN official, Finish lady,
Minna Jarvenpaa, who was more then just Steiner's 'right hand' from the
time when he was the Principle Deputy of the High Representative of
International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In order to avoid consequences of possible 'conflict of jurisdictions'
between Bilji and Minna, Steiner has transferred Minna Jarvenpaa from the
office in Pristina and appointed her as the Administrator in Kosovska
Mitrovica, two months ago. Prior to that, to the utter surprise of
Mitrovica's UNMIK administration officers, Steiner has dismissed from the
office Mr. John Rodgers who used to be Administrator until then.

However, Albanian secessionists warmly greeted the appointment of Minna
Jarvenpaa for new Administrator, since they knew she was the main
ideological and overall creator of all Steiner's moves on destroying, i.e.
canceling of Serb institutions in Northern Kosmet and in the entire
territory of Kosovo and Metohija.

Schori to replace Steiner

The Chief of UNMIK Michael Steiner is to be replaced by a Swedish diplomat
Pierre Schori, by the end of June or latest by the beginning of July,
Ekspres has learned from diplomatic sources in Pristina.
