No comment. :)

Iskreno, meni je MW na mestu.
Uopšte me ne nervira.

And I was wondering why is Rafa (and not the 8 X champ) on most of the papers & Wimbledon supplements today... 1f914.png#thePowerOfNIKE

Lukas Zahrer @ZaraLuk 14m14 minutes ago

Dominic #Thiem said in his presser that indeed this fall in the first set was the reason for his retirement: "It got worse and worse the longer the match lasted. I had problems with my cervical when I was little, but I believe that this is more of a muscular problem."

Thiem: "My serve got worse and worse, the physio didn't really help. I don't think that this will be a long lasting injury. But even if I would have been fully fit, it would have been hard to get the win today."

Thiem on playing Halle: "It was a big mistake. #Nadal also pulled back from Queen's, I should have done the same. I will learn from that for the future."

Thiem on withdrawing: "That's never a great feeling. On the upper side, it might be a good thing that it happened here, at my weakest Slam. Now I can get a good break, my schedule is quite packed in the second half of the year, and I definitely want to do better this time round."

The 23-time Grand Slam champion’s name ain’t “Baby,” it’s ”Serena.”
Now “Mrs. Williams,” if you’re #Wimbledon.
On the Wimbledon preoccupation with the marital statuses of its female players, with @bykaren (and @NailaJeanMeyers), for @NYTSports on A1:
https://www.nytimes....a-williams.html

#Wimbledon has kept detailed marriage records for every woman who has reached even the semifinals of its tournament. (The most marriages by a #Wimbledon semifinalist is 5, if you’re wondering) They don’t do this for the men, obviously. A glimpse from the Wimbledon Compendium:

A Woman Won Wimbledon. Her Husband Gets the Credit.

The All England Club, site of Wimbledon, is a traditional sort of place. That explains its board of champions, shown below, where the husbands of some of the sport's greatest players get some credit, in name, at least, for their spouse's triumphs.
