The WTA Finals will stay in Shenzhen for... TEN years.

Carole Bouchard @carole_bouchard 7m7 minutes ago

"WTA Finals Awarded to Shenzhen, China. Record prize money of $14 million awarded at season-ending event. New spectacular state-of-the art stadium to be built", says WTA com. WTA Finals will stay in Shenzhen from 2019 to 2028

Glad to read Shenzhen will build a new facility (indoor I guess ? or at least with a roof ?) cause I had male players telling me how unplayable it was in the heat there last year on some days.

re:Shenzhen : I was surprised to see the big crowds there for the wta event last weeks so that's a good sign for the Finals

Glad to hear from CEO Steve Simon that the WTA is planning in 2019 on switching the dates of the WTA Elite Trophy in Zhuhai so that the WTA Finals truly will be the "season-ending" championships. No more anticlimax. Needs to be done

Dobro su se setili, bolje ikad nego nikad.

Jelena Ostapenko will still reach a new career high #6 after the #AusOpenAusOpen2018v2.png, unless Caroline Garcia reaches the final.
