Suzuki has unveiled its GSX-RR for the upcoming MotoGP campaign, ahead of the start of official pre-season testing at Sepang on Monday.

Suzuki last year finished fourth in the standings during its second season back in the premier class, with Maverick Viñales claiming victory at the British Grand Prix.

Viñales and Aleix Espargaró have both departed to Yamaha and Aprilia respectively, with Suzuki having signed Andrea Iannone and Álex Rins for 2017.

Iannone made his MotoGP debut with Ducati satellite team Pramac in 2013 and graduated to a factory seat in 2015, ending the manufacturer's lengthy victory drought in Austria last year.

Iannone was nonetheless dropped for 2017, to make way for Jorge Lorenzo, and has sought refuge with Suzuki.

Rins, meanwhile, will step up to the premier class after two years in Moto2, in which he claimed four wins, finishing second overall in 2015 and third last season.

"This season is going our third season after coming back to MotoGP and we have so many expectations for that," said Satoru Terada, Project Leader.

"We worked really hard to improve and develop the bike during last two years and we could see the results coming out throughout 2016, so we feel happy checking out the direction we took was the correct one.

"Now we are pretty focused on 2017 and with the same hunger. We think we've got a really good GSX-RR base for the coming season and we have to still improve in some areas like electronics, but overall we are satisfied.

"We are keen to see how our performance is at this very first test of 2017 in Sepang and compare with our rivals where we are."

So Stoner gets to ride the most exciting motorcycles in the word (which he loves), but doesn't have to speak to us (which he hates).

He gets paid well, and only has a very limited number of media engagements all year. Sounds like a dream job.
