Zna li neko šta se dešava sa motorima danas na Dakaru? Na Live timing-u nema drugog specijala danas, nestale su čak i prolazne stanice na drugom delu specijala. Međutim za kola i kamione sve je normalno. Kola su skoro stigla do cilja, Kamioni su na drugoj kontrolnoj tačci drugog dela specijala... Motori su prvi deo specijala završili pre nekoliko sati(Gabor je bio na 49 mestu) do sada su morali stići na drugi deo i to ne samo vodeći.

 

Inače Gabor je juče bio fantastičan. završio je etapu na 39. mestu.

 

Danas u klasi automobila briljira niko drugi nego Adam Mališ. Na sedmoj kontrolnoj tačci je bio 2, ostale su mu još dve do cilja.

 

PS: Gospodi sa RTSa koji komentarišu preglede Dakara želim da podhitno nađu drugi posao. Jedina stvar vredna pomena kod njih su Gaborova uključenja. Sve ostalo je čisto blebetanje koje ponajmanje ima veze sa onim što vidimo na ekranima. Isto bi nam bilo i da isključimo ton. Ni tako ne bismo znali šta je to što vidimo kao što ne znamo ni ovako. Možemo samo da nagađamo. Na svu sreću pregledi na eurosportu su mnogo, mnogo bolji (iako takoreći vidimo istu sliku). Još da Erosport ima uključenja sa Gaborom, ne bih morao da lovim ove naše budale, koje uz sve ne poštuju programsku šemu...

 

 

EDIT: Sada sam video. Bukvalno čim sam napisao poruku

Drugi deo specijala za motore i kvadove je otkazan iz bezbedonosnih razloga. Sa finiša prvog dela specijala su odmah krenuli za bivak. Za  automobile i kamione drugi deo specijala nije otkazan, ali je skraćen. Nisam našao informaciju koji je tačan razlog za ovo otkazivanje i skraćenje. Pretpostavljam loše vreme. Ništa mi drugo ne pada na pamet.

Gabor još napreduje u generalnom plasmanu. Posle jučerašnje etape je bio 68, a posle današnje je 58.!

Samo nastavi tako Gabore i da te vidimo na cilju u Valparaisu!

Nazalost imamo i prvu zvrtvu ovogodisnjeg relija

 

 

Belgijanac Erik Palante, pronadjen je mrtav danas, u toku seste etape Dakar relija. 

Organizatori su saopštili da je pedesetogodišnji Belgijanac pronadjen mrtav na 143. kilometru današnje etape. Takodje, saopšteno je da Erik ni u jednom slučaju nije naglasio da nešto nije u redu, i da će okolnosti i uzrok jegove smrti naknadno biti utvrđeni.

Palante, otac petoro dece, učesnik je Dakar relija po jedanaesti put. On je 27 učesnik u istoriji relija koji je je preminuo u toku trajanja relija.

Baš neko veče je Peterhansel u pregledu  etape govorio koliko je Dakar opasna trka i kako se ni slučajno ne sme uzimati olako...

Bez obzira šta je uzrok vozačka greška ili ga je izdao motor ili ga je izdalo telo, strašno.

Moje saučešće porodici...

 

PS: Nažalost ovo nije jedina smrt na ovogodišnjem Dakaru. Dok sam tražio nešto više o Palanteu našao sam i ovu informaciju:

 

Two other rally-related deaths were reported earlier Friday. Police said two people following the race died on Thursday when their vehicle overturned in rough terrain in northern Argentina.

Police identified the pair on Friday as Agustin Ignacio Mina, 19, and Daniel Eduardo Ambrosio, 51.

Police said the crash took place on Thursday at the end of the fifth stage. Police said Mina was covering the rally for a motor racing magazine, and they identified Ambrosio as a fan of motor sports.

Danas je dan odmora na Dakaru. Za njima je 6 od 13 etapa. Stigli su skoro do pola puta. Nažalost imali smo i smrtne slučajeve na reliju.

Koliko je ovo teška trka mislim da najbolje govore brojke koliko je takmičara ostalo u trci od svih koji su krenuli na ovu avanturu.

 

Motori: (startovali - još u trci)

174 - 83  47,7%

 

Kvadovi:

39 - 17    43,6%

 

Automobili:

140 - 70  50%

 

Kamioni:

69 - 52    82,5%

 

Stvari koje su po meni obeležili prvu nedelje Dakara su:

 

- Naravno odličan plasman Gabora, samo neka tako nastavi i da stigne do cilja

 

- Odična vožnja Mališa. Jeste i prethodnih godina bio veoma dobar, negde oko 15-20 mesta, ali sada je još bolji. Trenutno 9. Vidi se da napreduje i ne bi me čudilo da jedne od narednih godina bude i na najvišem postolju. Voleo bih to.

 

- Britanski bračni par Džons koji su opet tu posle 8. godina. On za volanom, ona sa mapom. Njemu skidam kapu. Toliki put sa ženom kao suvozačem treba to izdržati ;), mada pretpostavljam da ona nije tipična žena suvozač čim je ovde. U svakom slučaju izuzetno simpatični. 

 

- Američki motociklista Mike Džonson, trenutno na pretposlednjem mestu. Treću etapu je završio posle 27 sati, tek kada su svi već krenuli na četvrtu. seo je jeo, za to vreme mu je prijatelj pripremio knjigu puta, seo je na motor i produžio dalje. Posle takvih napora na petoj etapi je uspeo da bude 59., a na šestoj bolji od Gabora, 67. Njemu će ovaj dan odmora biti verovatno najpotrebniji.

 

- Ipak najupečatljiviji momenat mi je bio ispadanje portugalca Paola Gonkalveša, kojem je izgoreo motor. Prvo ga je pokušavao ugasiti i to tako očajnički da me je podsetio na Dejvida Parlija koji je isto tako očajnički, ali nažalost takođe uzaludno pokušavao da spase Rodžera Vilijamsona (svima nama ovde veoma dobro poznata scena). Na kraju, kada je video da njegovoj Hodni nema spasa Gonkalveš ju je u suzama gledao kako gori, neutešno plačući, totalno slomljen što mora da odustane i što neće moći da stigne do cilja ovogodišnjeg Dakara...

X-raid calls off Nani Roma and Stephane Peterhansel's battle

 

 

Stephane Peterhansel admitted that his hopes of victory in the 2014 Dakar were over after his X-raid Mini team called off the fight for the lead.

The Frenchman had closed to within two minutes of leader Nani Roma after stage 10 on Wednesday, with X-raid's Minis dominant in this year's event.

But amid worries from team chiefs that the battle for victory could lead to both men taking risks, Peterhansel was told that he had to hold off on attacking.

During Thursday's stage from Antofagasta to El Salvador, he duly complied and fell back by a further three minutes.

The result leaves him more than five minutes adrift and he conceded after Thursday's finish that the battle for the win was done.

"The game is over," he said. "We've had a good laugh and enjoyed ourselves.

"Yesterday evening, the team asked us to not take any more risks.

"It's a bit frustrating because we've done most of the hard work.

"But, if Mini wants to have three cars on the podium, at the speed at which we are driving out in front, it's easy to crash a car or even two in just one day.

"We know that this can happen, but I didn't think that they would do it."

Team boss Sven Quandt said the pace that Peterhansel and team-mate Nasser Al-Attiyah had been setting as both recovered from earlier problems had been too bold.

"The risk that something goes wrong at the enormous speed the two were racing at got just too big," said Quandt.

"We wanted cars and drivers to safely make it to the finish and we want to see three Mini ALL4 Racings on the podium."

Ovo je stvarno vise odvratno! Ja razumem da je finansiska kriza u auto industriji ali kompanije se ponasaju kao da im zivot zavisi od rezultata sportskog dela kompanije. Kao da ce pobeda u nekom poznatom sampionatu da donese povecanje prodaje za 1000%. Sad ce svi kad cuju za trostruku pobedu na Dakaru da navale da kupuju mini. Malo je samo pobeda. Jos ako se skine De Viljije sa 4 pozicije. Ma ceo BMW-ov menadzment moze na maltive do sledece godine. Jebes ulaganje u marketing :ajme:

Ajde sto su Ekeslton i Mozli srozali sve druge sampionate zbog formule 1 nego jos i ove timske borbe... Nacisto su upropastili auto-moto sport.

Moram da se ispravim. Posle prve nedelje Dakara sam pisao o:

Međutim pogrešio sam.

 

Junak cele priče je australijanac Mark Davidson sa startnim brojem 121, koji nažalost nije uspeo da završi tu narednu četvrtu etapu, onu na koju je stigao kada su svi već otišli...

 

Jednostavno nisam u pregledu etape video o kom je motociklisti reč. Na Dakarovom sajtu sam pogledao koji je to motociklista stigao kao poslednji na treću etapu i da li su u tom trenutku informacije bile nepotpune ili sam ja nešto loše video, ne znam, ali sam tako amerikancu pripisao priču u kojoj nije učestvovao. Grešku sa uvideo tek po završetku Dakara kada sam gledao pregled cele trke na Eurosportu.

 

Inače sada na Dakarovom sajtu stoje podaci da Mark Davidson i nije bio poslednji na dotičnoj trećoj etapi. Posle njega je na cilj stigao i argentinac Juan Manuel Belaustegui, i on je USPEO da završi četvrtu etapu, ali je morao odustati na petoj...

Čuo sam priče da će se na sledećem Dakaru 2015 u trci Gaboru Sagmajsteru pridružiti i njegov sin Robert. Srećno im bilo i sve najbolje. Želim im dobar rezultat, ali pre svega da reli završe i to zdravi i čitavi...

Peugeot will return to the Dakar Rally in 2015, the French car manufacturer confirmed on Wednesday.

The car maker had been linked with the return to the event at the end of last year, just a few months after Sebastien Loeb had smashed the Pikes Peak Hill Climb record in a specially-constructed 208 T16.

Peugeot dominated the Dakar in the late 1980s, taking four straight victories in the 405 T16 with former World Rally champions Ari Vatanen and Juha Kankkunen.

The French manufacturer confirmed its return to the event with a video teaser and although it did not reveal any details about the car it will race, this week's AUTOSPORT suggests it will use a 208-based buggy.

The news was also confirmed by Red Bull, revealing the programme will be backed by the energy drinks company. French oil company Total is also involved in the project.

Peugeot said it will return to the Dakar with a "star line-up of racing greats."

The firm is scheduled to reveal more details on its programme this afternoon.

Former World Rally champion and Dakar winner Carlos Sainz, as well as Dakar legend Stephane Peterhansel are expected to be in its driver line-up.
