U Pokopu Mrtvaca, pjesnik je zapisao:

 

"April is the cruellest month, breeding

Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing

Dull roots with spring rain."

 

Ne znam da li se slican sentiment nazire u istom onom mjesecu Aprilu, koji ponekad prekriva nase zivote sa bolnim snijegom... ali znam da taj osjecaj sada bolno pritiksa sjecanje na 21 april prije 2 godine, kada nas je napustio jedan od najvecih - Prince Roger Nelson. Medjutim, i pored romanticarskog patosa koji je tesko izbjeci kada se prica o pojedincima koji su svoje zivote transfromisali u jednu vjecitu pjesmu, Prince ne dozvoljava da u tome pretjerujemo, njegova vizija je ipak bila veoma optimisticna, cak u najljepsem smislu te rijeci - futuristicka.
